School Update – Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Further information about how our Trust and schools are taking necessary precautions since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, can be found in our Trust’s ‘Coronavirus (COVID-19) website section’.

To help families through lockdown and social distancing, new articles on Parent Info tackle some of the key issues they are experiencing, including:

Separated parents managing arrangements to see their child
Supporting teens to cope with lockdown
Looking after their mental health while stuck indoors
Starting difficult conversations about COVID-19 with your child

Welcome Back to All

Welcome Back to All

From principals and head teachers to I.T. and Facilities we have worked hard over the summer holidays to ensure that Penhale Infant School is a safe place to learn for your child amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The safety of our children, staff and wider community continues to be our priority, and with this in mind your support is vital as we take our next steps in reducing the risk to all, and to make a successful return to the much-missed routine of classroom based learning.

Our plan sees all children in their own Year Group Bubbles so that contact with the wider school population is limited where possible.

WE WILL;

  1. Work to Child First = Child Safe = Adult Safe
  2. Encourage constant hygiene with accessible hand sanitiser
  3. Hand washing will be the principle means of securing hand hygiene and will easily be accessible throughout the school

It’s a strange time which has unified us and all members of our school community, so I would like to thank everyone again for their continued support.
